New Project for Myself / Juglito Ergo Sum

Juglito Ergo Sum means I juggle therefore I am.
It is the catch phrase for The Flying Karamazov Brothers.
I happen to absolutly love this phrase!!

So I decided to embroider a sweater that I just got with this phrase, but I couldn't stop there, nooo that would have been to easy. Well I will let my work speak for its self.

So this is my new project...I am Sooooo Excited.

This is going to be on the back of the sweater which is white...

The only thing that is probably going to be different is that I plan on including the strings that connect the Diabolo sticks. I've drawn that onto a printed copy of the design.

I would like to get some opinions. so feel free to comment on the image, What do you like about it?/What would you change?

Don't sink the boat that you built to keep afloat

Flogging Molly has it right...
Just wanted to take the time to put up a well thought out post, sometimes I am in a rush to get my thoughts out there, that I have a ton of grammatical errors, horrible misspellings and when I reread them later I sound like I have A.D.D.
It's like my grandmother says "Goodness Delilah, Slow down when you speak, I think you talk so fast because your brain works faster then your mouth."
lol, I think she is right.
That reminds me of how my friend Banana introduced me not to long ago.
She had invited me to come out after my juggling class one night, she was hanging out with some of her friends that I hadn't met. So I walk into the diner where they were eating, I say hello to everyone and sit down next to Banana.
She waves her hands toward me in a very Vanna White fashion and says "This is my friend Delilah, She has to be one of my most eccentric friends, she says she is going to do something and then really does it."
Ha ha I think that was one of my favorite intros.
For the most part that is true but sometimes I have to reign myself in cause my head is working on like 10 projects that have yet to be completed. Some of them never get completed... but I like to think that one day i will get back to them, and then again some of them are on and off again.
I wanted to tell you about my growing camera collection. I just got a new Minolta! My sister saw it at a garage sale and bought it for me. She gave it to me when I got home.
So here are a list of my Cameras.
1. Kodak Brownie Hawkeye
(One of the first cameras I got, I got it at a Garage sale, I took it apart and cleaned the lenses. It works but they don't 620 flim anymore, I could respool 120 film onto 620 spools but I dont have the time)
2. Minolta Hi-matic AF
(I inherited this from my late Aunt, Its is circa 1979 and it is in great condition it even has the original case it came in)
3. Minolta Hi-matic GF
(This is the one my sister bought me at a tag sale, It is circa 1984 and is also in really good condition.)
4. Nikon Cool pics
(My standard red digital camera)
5. Diana Camera
( My 120 Film camera, I am not to good with it yet but I will get better with it.)
6. Fisheye Camera
(One of my newer cameras, This one takes photos that come out rounded, I havent seen the pictures I have taken with it yet.)
7. Poloroid Mio
(This is the one that has cost me the most stress, It is sooooo hard to find the film for this one)
8. Poloroid Izone
(This one is also hard to get film for but still a fun camera)
I think that is all of them, and the Collection is Constantly growing...
I am accually on the prowl for a White Poloroid camera with a rainbow stripe on the front, I believe they call it a field camera. lol Like I need a new camera I am gonna run out of space for all of them.
Wow, This post is a lot longer then I intened it to be.
I am still working on the photo madness post, but there are a lot more pictures then I though and I have to sift thru all of them to get to the good ones. I am considering getting a Flicker account that way I can be a little better about getting my pictures up. We will see, I should have my mind made up by the next post.
Thats all for now!
* Update: On my lunch break, I decided to go to the Goodwill near my job and I was on the check out line, and I look at a shelf to my left and my eyes fall on a strap hanging out of a bag.... A Canon strap..... I am instantly having a heart attack, I ask a clerk to see it and he gets it down for me. I look into the bag and a Canon Rebel is stareing back at me, Suddenly my surroundings change I am surrounded by light and the camera says to me "I have been waiting for you Delilah" I am completly shocked back into the store.
I know this camera was destined to be mine.
So I am now the very proud owner of a Canon Rebel 2000/EOS 300.

X-Ray tape....Can u say cool....

This is me totally geeking out right now....

"It turns out that if you peel the popular adhesive tape off its roll in a vacuum chamber, it emits X-rays."

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27323869/

and I always knew Zombies existed...

"Several cases of individuals who had been put into a trance-like zombie state not by some magical incantation, but by a powerful poison administered by a voodoo priest.

The poison, which contained toxins drawn from the Japanese puffer fish, can make its victim appear dead for several days, leading many victims to be buried alive before "awakening" in a zombie-like haze."

Goodness, I am in like information heaven, I totally love obscure facts like this. I know that sentence made me sound like a valley girl but this is not true.
What is true is that I am home!!!
It feels sooooo good to have access to the Internet and a computer and the Internet....lol
Just reminds me how much I love technology...Sigh

I have a ton of pictures to share and I know I promised I would do it when I got home but im going to put it off until the next post, I'm going to work on the post tonight and post it tomorrow, so fear not u will get a post with pictures.

also writing this I have realized that I have grown tired of my current blog layout and I will be on a mission to revamp it.
So in more of the fashion of a normal post,
I got home Sunday evening at 5:30pm, my mom barely waited for me to get thru the door with my 60lbs of luggage before she bombarded me with hugs and kisses, proclaiming that I am not allowed to ever leave home for such a long time again.
(I believe she forgot about all of this when she announced to me this morning that I have to start paying rent or move out, which I will cave and pay but I'm gonna give her a little hell first)

The great DVD Depression...

What is all this about Blue Ray DVD's?
Is this going to make the DVD obsolete?

Maybe I just don't get it... Will I have to end up buying a whole new library of DVD's in 10 years when my DVD player breaks because they don't make DVD players anymore, only Blue Ray players!
Will I end up being one of those people who buy's everything in 2's and 3's, having a back up just in case something breaks.
This is ridicules!!
By then inflation will be so bad, just to buy a DVD will cost a small fortune, you can forget about going to the movies...just as bad.
Will I loose everything I hold dear?

Now that my moment of panic is over...

I'm sitting at work listening to Hot Chip's "Ready for the floor" float into my ears. I look like I'm working but this in fact is not true.
"Sigh" I'm such a slacker...
I am even leaving work early cause I have to pick up my sister at school, but I did come in earlier then normal. Oh yeah and also fun fact: I have my juggling class tonight. It is a double edged sword, cause I love my class but it is my last class so I am sad.
Oh yeah and I don't know if I mentioned this a few post ago but I ordered these bean bags from this woman called " The Bag Lady", she is amazing. We worked on customized bean bags for me. I like her so much I ordered 6.
I got the first order last Thursday, I was expecting to get 3 Brown and aqua suede bean bags but she gave me 4 and they came is a nice little drawstring bag.

I called her and raved about how much I love them, which I do. They just so happen to be traveling the world with me.
Do you think I should take my Diabolo.. I need to practice...
but is that a little obsessive?

BTW I am super amped about the trip!
Heres a question for ya: Why are funeral homes called funeral homes?

If I took the pepsi challange...I'd pick Coke....

I'm leaving on Saturday!!
I have been driving myself insane looking for film for this camera I have recently acquired.
The camera in question is the Polaroid Mio, they don't make this camera any more and the film for it is even more obsolete.
So after a little more research i discovered that fujifilm makes a film that fits in the Mio.
There is just a small snag, its only sold in Japan and Europe. Just fantastic.
I have been having dreams of film, last night I drempt of a white Polaroid camera,
now i want one.
So on my trip to Europe I will be getting a ton of Fujifilm Instax Mini film. I will be stopping in Vienna's Lomography store to get some. I was also thinking of getting a fisheye camera... this is still up for debate....
I have good news for ya, I am officially an EMT!!
I got my card in the mail a few days ago. Awesomeness!!
Also, I am amped for Nick and Norah's Infinite Play list opening this Friday.Wahoo.
