Don't sink the boat that you built to keep afloat

Flogging Molly has it right...
Just wanted to take the time to put up a well thought out post, sometimes I am in a rush to get my thoughts out there, that I have a ton of grammatical errors, horrible misspellings and when I reread them later I sound like I have A.D.D.
It's like my grandmother says "Goodness Delilah, Slow down when you speak, I think you talk so fast because your brain works faster then your mouth."
lol, I think she is right.
That reminds me of how my friend Banana introduced me not to long ago.
She had invited me to come out after my juggling class one night, she was hanging out with some of her friends that I hadn't met. So I walk into the diner where they were eating, I say hello to everyone and sit down next to Banana.
She waves her hands toward me in a very Vanna White fashion and says "This is my friend Delilah, She has to be one of my most eccentric friends, she says she is going to do something and then really does it."
Ha ha I think that was one of my favorite intros.
For the most part that is true but sometimes I have to reign myself in cause my head is working on like 10 projects that have yet to be completed. Some of them never get completed... but I like to think that one day i will get back to them, and then again some of them are on and off again.
I wanted to tell you about my growing camera collection. I just got a new Minolta! My sister saw it at a garage sale and bought it for me. She gave it to me when I got home.
So here are a list of my Cameras.
1. Kodak Brownie Hawkeye
(One of the first cameras I got, I got it at a Garage sale, I took it apart and cleaned the lenses. It works but they don't 620 flim anymore, I could respool 120 film onto 620 spools but I dont have the time)
2. Minolta Hi-matic AF
(I inherited this from my late Aunt, Its is circa 1979 and it is in great condition it even has the original case it came in)
3. Minolta Hi-matic GF
(This is the one my sister bought me at a tag sale, It is circa 1984 and is also in really good condition.)
4. Nikon Cool pics
(My standard red digital camera)
5. Diana Camera
( My 120 Film camera, I am not to good with it yet but I will get better with it.)
6. Fisheye Camera
(One of my newer cameras, This one takes photos that come out rounded, I havent seen the pictures I have taken with it yet.)
7. Poloroid Mio
(This is the one that has cost me the most stress, It is sooooo hard to find the film for this one)
8. Poloroid Izone
(This one is also hard to get film for but still a fun camera)
I think that is all of them, and the Collection is Constantly growing...
I am accually on the prowl for a White Poloroid camera with a rainbow stripe on the front, I believe they call it a field camera. lol Like I need a new camera I am gonna run out of space for all of them.
Wow, This post is a lot longer then I intened it to be.
I am still working on the photo madness post, but there are a lot more pictures then I though and I have to sift thru all of them to get to the good ones. I am considering getting a Flicker account that way I can be a little better about getting my pictures up. We will see, I should have my mind made up by the next post.
Thats all for now!
* Update: On my lunch break, I decided to go to the Goodwill near my job and I was on the check out line, and I look at a shelf to my left and my eyes fall on a strap hanging out of a bag.... A Canon strap..... I am instantly having a heart attack, I ask a clerk to see it and he gets it down for me. I look into the bag and a Canon Rebel is stareing back at me, Suddenly my surroundings change I am surrounded by light and the camera says to me "I have been waiting for you Delilah" I am completly shocked back into the store.
I know this camera was destined to be mine.
So I am now the very proud owner of a Canon Rebel 2000/EOS 300.
