Ninja Stars and Lollipops

This week was a really interesting one, being that it was my first week of unemployment, I was expecting to have nothing to do and enjoy lounging around in the house.
This was the farthest from the truth.
My parents have had things for me to do every day, I had to take the dog to get spaded one day then I had to pick her up the next day.
Taking my sister to school, then picking her up again, running errands let and right.
I feel like I have no time to myself...
On a lighter note my friend Nix is home!!
She has been away at school in Ireland, and I am glad she is back.
Last night we went for hibachi together, we caught up and had really good time.
Well the time is coming near for me to share my big news!!

Delilah, Diabolo's & Dubé...Oh My!

Today's Topic of Ye Olde Blog is Diabolo's!!
As many of you know I am major fan of Diabolos, I own 3 already, and I am currently in the process of acquiring 3 more...^_^. I know I have a problem....

My Collection currently consists of:

1. Blue Millennium
(This was the first Diabolo that I ever owned,
I have had it for about 3 years. Its been run thru the mill)

2. Glow in the Dark Millennium
(My second Diabolo purchase,
not as messed up as my blue milli but I love playing with it in the dark,
it looks soooo awesome)

3. Red Circus
(I bought this beauty in Berlin & I completely adore it, I have a great spin time with it.
It took some time to get used to at first due to the weight but I'm not bad on it)

I have just ordered 2 more diabolos that should be in December 10th. They are early Birthday presents to myself. I ordered a Orange Tornado and a White Sundia. I can not wait to get them... I have started to compulsively checking the tracking info to see how close They are.

I was also considering heading to Dubé today to see if I can get myself a Arlequino,
still a tentative thought, lets see how I feel later. ^_~

I would just like to take a moment for a small rant...
ahhemm.
Their is a serious lack of Juggling stores in NY/Westchester Area.
Its like all I have is Dubé and they don't have a Giant selection of Diabolos, and the store hours are not very flexible, they are closed on weekends and they aren't open very late.

I live in Westchester which alone is about 20-40 minutes from the city depending on traffic,
I usually get out of work at 5 so lets say I do go to the city and try to make it
before they close at 6.
I have to find parking which around there is nearly impossible.
Then if by some miracle I do find parking I have about 3 minutes to get from the car to the building then get upstairs and make my purchase, and if I remember correctly I have to sign in with a door man downstairs....
Do you see the problem..
All I have to say is thank god for the Internet.
*Side Note* My birthday is in 26 more days!!

Blogity bloggy blog

I know I know, I haven't blogged in a little more then a week. I am truly sry.
But I know you will find it in the evil little place inside you to forgive me
(Thanks in advance)
Anywho...
Lots and lots have been going on.
Thanksgiving was great, I ate to much and then had leftovers of it the next day and the day after that and then after that....
It is safe to say that I will not be wanting any turkey till next year.
Till then bring on the chicken!

Also on a bit of a sad note, I was given my two weeks notice last week.
It was great while it lasted. ^_^.
I think the thing that I am going to miss most is my awesome boss, Larry.
Totally one of the coolest ever.
But you gotta roll with the punches...
On a lighter note. Gas is super cheap!! Finally!

Well I think that is all for now. Laterz!
*Side note: I think I'm going to watch Beauty and the Beast tonight

So this past weekend, I went to see Wintuk, which is a performance put on by Cirque Du Soleil. The show was amazing everything a Cirque performance should be. It just makes me want to work for them even more. Dreams....

I am almost done with my sweater, It took me longer then I expected it to. It looks great, I don't mean to brag or anything but what can I say... I'm awesome...lol JK.

So here are some Pic's I wanted to post:

These are the Juggling balls that I got, They look at lot cooler when they are moving.

This is the shelf that I installed all by myself, my Brownie hawk eye seems to like it.
Under it are some of my half full sketch books.
Above are some charcoal drawings I did when I was in High School, they are a pair if you could'nt tell.

*Side Note: I am working on a project that I will be anouncing soon. I am simply bursting I want to tell you so bad, but it must wait......you must wait...I'm Sry.....

If I hung my head for all of my errors in judgment, I would never see the sky

I was just thinking about choices I have made so far in my life
(Every once in a while I get philosophical like this)

I went to a trade high school (against my parents wishes) but as far as I am concerned I think it was one of the best things I have ever done.
Although I never achieved academic greatness like my parents wanted I gained something else entirely, Myself.

I am comfortable in my own skin, and that's not to say I don't have insecurities because that would be false. I look at others my age and they have spent so many years trying to be someone elses idea of who they should be, that they don't know who they are.

From grades 1 to grade 8 I went to catholic school. When I entered my H.S (which was public) It was eye opening. My high school gave me an environment where I could express myself freely with out fear of being rejected or thought of as weird, that was something I didn't always get at home (Don't get me wrong I have always had lots of love at home, but they thought of me as eccentric..lol they still do).

It was an amazing environment to learn and grow in. I have seen people go to the best of schools and come out making choices that leave you thinking "what happened".

My school experiences have shaped me, even the bad experiences have shaped me. If I had to go back I wouldn't change a thing.

Did you know that Leonardo Di Vinci out of all of his achievements from science to art, he was most proud of his ability to bend metal with his bare hands.

I love who I am.
Find yourself and cherish it for all eternity

*Random Quotes I like*

1. "You say you love me now but will you when you realize i am four feet tall and have half-robot-legs?" - max bemis.

2. "There are no words I can use because their meaning still leaves for you to choose."-Cat Stevens

Wicked Cool Awesomeness

Busy busy week for me, I went to lunch with banana, I bought a new shelf and installed it myself thank u very much.
I also came upon new juggling balls in the most unlikely of places..The Container Store... they are filled with glitter and water, they look really cool.

Also some things I am considering getting into:
Fire breathing/Fire eating
Contact juggling
Circus EMT....I don't know if that exist
Knitting (It seems hard)

I think my mother is seriously getting worried that I am going to run away and join the circus. We were talking the other day I was telling her how I was looking to see if I needed a permit to be a street performer she turned to me and said
"you should really be focusing on your career"
(getting an EMT position)
I replied "I am" after a pause I started to laugh hysterically.
She laughed and said it wasn't funny, but it was.

Side note*
I am seriously disappointed by the lack of juggling programs/clubs in Westchester. I was on Google a whole afternoon looking for one and alas nothing. I have to trek all the way to the city... which is a good 20 to 45 minutes away depending on traffic. Maybe I should start my own juggling club...hmmmmm....
