Dig North Young Jim

Those were the words I saw spray painted on a metal beam in the tunnel of Grand Central Station.
I went to juggling class finally this Monday (I'm trying to learn Poi spinning)
It was a great class my arms were sore afterward, but it was a good pain. My parents were away this week so it has been my sister, the dog and I.
I think a pretty good week all in all. I went to Max Brenner's : Chocolate by the bald man, this week with Jess.
We had The Brenner Burger and it came with these fries that were seasoned with a coco chili powder.
We shared because we wanted to make sure we had room for dessert
and for dessert we had the munchie waffles.
Omg sooo Good!
After all of that surprised that I was still able to move we took a walk to the strand book store and I got a French dictionary and then we walked to Barnes and Nobles so Jess could get a book he wanted.
I had a lot of fun, but it was bitter sweet, Jess is going to be away for 6 months. So although bummed I am really happy for him!
Hes is going to have a great time and will be missed Insanely!
Have a Great Trip Jess!!!

*Side Note* I recently saw Whip It! and it was AWESome!!

Apple Picking!!!

Yes Folks, Its that time of year!!!
Today was Fantastic, my family and I went Apple Picking at Maskers Orchard here in NY.
We go every year and this year we had the newest addition to the fam with us.
After we have pick a sufficient amount of apples
(and eaten enough to make us never want to see another one)
We have a picnic.
Then we go to the orchards gift shop and get all sorts of jams and mixes, I found the cutest cookie cutters.
Then we ate Apple doughnuts and drank cider.
(in my opinion they have the best cider ever at maskers)
We have done this every year since I was a kid.
So here are some pics from our day...

Up up and Away?

So there has been a lot of talk in the household of moving to Virginia.
This is something I am opposed to, Honestly, there is nothing for me there..
I mean my EMT licence is for NY and you can't get that transferred.
It's not like I'm trying to be difficult It's just that its so far from everything I love.
Virginia is not a city like NY, I wouldn't mind moving to Chicago, Florida or even Cali.
But how do you move a girl that grew up in Brooklyn, NY to Virginia.....?
They are not even comparable!
Anyway... Lately I have been getting back into drawing, I had kind of stopped because I have been super into crocheting. Here are some pictures of Crochet project i have been working on!!
The Raspberry Beret!

Granny Squares..

The Brighton Cowel

I haven't been taking a lot of pictures or blogging lately, I feel like i just don't have time and that makes me sad.

Stoked!!

I have a few things I want to touch base on!
First I am really excited for Say Anythings new album coming out soon and I recently purchased Tickets to see them in November.
Speaking of November, that seems to be a pretty busy month I also have Tickets to see The Flying Karamazov Brothers in Tarrytown. Yay!
I love going to Concerts and shows of my fancy, I always have.
Let me see If I can describe the feeling.
It's like when you were young and there was a night that was so fantastic when you woke up the next morning it didn't feel real, like it was a crazy vivid dream.
It's Magical thinking about it again and thinking to yourself... That really happened to me.
Wow...... I totally went into to much detail.
I'm going to be heading into V.A. in a few hours were leaving at 6 in the am, I almost don't think its worth going too sleep considering the fact that it is almost 3.
I kinda wish that the gym opened at 5am today but alas it opens at 7 or 8, I really don't know what the weekend hours are,
I usually go at obscene hours when I am having a hard time sleeping.
But whatever I think I have said what I wanted to, Night Everyone (all two of you)
Side Note* I want to see the new Hayao Miyazaki film Ponyo and learn Poi spinning!!!

Feeling Some What Inspired....

I'm watching one of my favorite movies right now which is Stardust,
part of me wishes that life was just as magical as in movies like this.
Tonight, My Aunt was induced into labor
I expect my new baby cousin will be here very soon.
I must admit i am very excited, I can't wait to see her grow up
I have been thinking about her and all the things I want to teach her.
Also I will be taking French classes soon I am totally amped about them, I have been wanting to learn French forever!!
Part of me is wondering that because I have so many interest if I have become a Jack of all trades but a Master at none. That makes me kind of sad.
I am doing a little bit of thinking.
(I know take a step back, I don't want to hurt anyone)
But I want to refocus my energy into taking the things that I am mediocre at and make improve those skills. So thats where my head is at.
Oh and I'm working on a beret right now. YAY!
Side note* I am really fed up of certian people.
